The Milford House
The Milford House is a carefully restored late 1800’s home overlooking the park in Milford PA. This project took several years to execute as much of the home needed to be reinforced and brought to code. The original details of the home were salvaged and brought back to life. Original plaster moldings were recast, door knobs and hardware stripped and walled up windows found and brought back to their former glory breathing new life and warmth into the home.

It was important to both my client and myself that we preserve as much of the home as possible while bringing it up to date and into our modern era

Restoration
The exterior of the home was tenderly restored. The client had an old photo of the home from the early 1900’s which the team was able to use as a reference image in order to carefully re-recreate the stairs and trim work to match what the home would have looked like at the time it was built.
